Happy Sunday, Calvary!
We turn to the fifth petition of the Lord’s Prayer this morning: “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” As Pastor Bodner explains, forgiveness is core to the Christian’s life in Christ:
“…we seek anew the blessing that lies at the heart of the Gospel — we call again and again for the mercy underlying every saving good which makes our faith ‘good news’ to a lost world.”
The sermon today will explore the point, the principle, the purpose, and the pathway of the plea.
May God bless our meeting together.
